Who could organize an event like the Guitar Summit better than the most popular musician’s magazine? For now 40 years, Gitarre & Bass has been in constant contact with guitarists, bassists, manufacturers, musicians and distributors. This expertise has been applied to every aspect of the organization of the Guitar Summit – whether it’s the exhibition areas, the workshops or the live acts and artists.

For people with limited mobility, the barrier-free entrance at the Rosengarten gate is available. If you are coming from the Rosengarten underground car park, please contact our service staff at the entrances.

Guests with disabilities who have the “B” designation in their disability ID (Schwerbehindertenausweis) are entitled to free admission for one required accompanying person.

The guest with the disability must hold a valid ticket – either a regular ticket or, if the requirements are met, a SOCIAL Ticket. The free admission for the accompanying person applies in both cases.

There are several special ticket options available for Guitar Summit.
These include the free KIDS&YOUTH Ticket for children and young people up to and including the age of 14, as well as the discounted SOCIAL Ticket for people with limited financial means. Please note that specific conditions apply to these tickets. All information on requirements, availability and booking can be found here:

Special Ticket Options

Of course you can come. However, there are restrictions:

• Children/youth under the age of 16 will only be admitted to the event if accompanied by a person with parental authority.
• Teenagers between 16 and 18 years of age who are not accompanied by a person with parental authority will be allowed to attend the event until 24:00 hrs.
• When accompanied by a parent or guardian, children and youth are not subject to time restrictions.

Parking is available in the direct surroundings of the Rosengarten in the CC Rosengarten parking garage under the watertower. From there you have direct access to the Rosengarten Mannheim.

To help you start your Guitar Summit day as relaxed as possible and without long waiting times, we have further optimized our admission concept for 2026.

New for 2026: an additional wristband pick-up for ticket holders, open on Friday & Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (closed on Sunday). There, you can have your ticket scanned before regular admission and receive your admission wristband directly. You can then conveniently use the Fastlane at Door 4.

This helps us further reduce waiting times at the regular visitor entrances – especially on Friday, when experience shows that a particularly large number of visitors arrive at the same time.

Visitor Admission Overview:

• Door 1: Exhibitors, press, artists and box office
  Anyone buying a ticket at the box office will receive an admission wristband there directly and can then proceed to the Fastlane at Door 4.
• Door 2 and Door 3: Visitors with tickets
  A quick security check, ticket scan and wristband pick-up take place here.
• Door 4: Fastlane
  Admission only for visitors with a valid admission wristband. Only a quick security check takes place here.
• Door 5: Exit
  Re-entry is not possible.

The event opens daily at 11:00 a.m.

For Masterclass participants, admission will remain the same as in 2025 and will take place via the directly adjacent Dorint Hotel. Check-in will therefore continue to be handled separately through the Dorint Hotel and not via the regular visitor admission at the Rosengarten.

Yes, there will be a box office, as long as the event is not sold out. The box office opens with admission.

Yes, on the forecourt of the Rosengarten food trucks will offer various delicacies, which will certainly leave nothing to be desired.

Bringing your own instruments is not allowed. Exception: Masterclass participants

Generally, the Non-Smoker Protection Act applies, i.e. smoking is not allowed in the entire Rosengarten.

Yes. The Guitar Summit Ticket gives access to the exhibition, all workshops and concerts. The masterclasses are NOT included in the Guitar Summit ticket price.and must be booked in addition to the Guitar Summit ticket.

Only as long as the maximum permitted number of visitors is not exceeded! If a workshop/concert is overcrowded, there is no right to admission. Admission to a workshop/concert will only be granted again when guests have left the workshop/concert and new space has thus been created.
