DOD presents the Overdrive Preamp 250-X, a new chapter in the history of the legendary DOD Overdrive pedal.
Three versatile tones, classic vintage sound, and modern enhancements make the tenth version of the OD250 the most versatile version of the pedal to date.
Inspired by the limited edition DOD OD250-50th Anniversary model from 2024, the 250-X offers the same 3-way toggle switch function, but in a production model at a user-friendly price.
Operation is straightforward and intuitive. At its core, the 250-X retains the same gain and level control values as the original OD250, preserving the familiar feel and response that guitarists know and love. The 3-way toggle switch expands the tonal range, offering symmetrical silicon clipping for the legendary 250 sound, asymmetrical ASYM clipping for even harmonic distortion, and LIFT mode, which completely removes diode clipping from the signal path, resulting in a clean boost or dirty boost depending on the level.
The DOD Overdrive Preamp 250-X pedal will be available from October 2025 at a recommended retail price of €119.00 from all DigiTech dealers.
