
New model, the Mantispa: lightweight bass, foldable, headless, and multi-scale
The range of foldable guitars developed and crafted by luthier Sébastien Gavet is expanding. After the Mantispa guitar presented in 2023 at Guitar Summit, and a first prototype of the foldable bass shown in 2024, the new version of the Mantispa Bass will be unveiled at Guitar Summit 2025. The ergonomics have been revised to offer an instrument that weighs 2.4 kg in its 4-string version.
