Guitar Summit brings together people who share a passion for guitar, bass, and music – and thrives on exactly that. The SOCIAL Ticket is our way of making this sense of community accessible to people with limited financial means.
The Social Ticket is a heavily discounted day ticket for individuals who cover their living expenses through government social benefits. Eligibility is tied to the submission of a valid and current benefits notice (e.g. Bürgergeld, social welfare, or housing benefit). Educational funding such as BAföG is not covered by this regulation. Purchase is completed via the ticket shop by uploading suitable proof, which will be briefly reviewed and then approved. SOCIAL Tickets are personalized and non-transferable; personal details may be redacted and will be used exclusively for verification purposes.

Drawing a line here wasn’t easy for us. We know that financial hardship has many faces and isn’t always reflected in a piece of paper from the authorities. However, as event organizers, it is not our place—nor is it possible for us—to individually judge whose income is “too low”
To make the SOCIAL Ticket a reality and keep the process fair, we have to rely on an objective standard—which means sticking to official government classifications. We are painfully aware that this system isn’t perfect and may unfortunately exclude some deserving individual cases. We ask for your understanding in this matter. We see this ticket as a vital first step toward making our community more accessible to everyone, and we want to ensure that this support reaches those who need it most.
