Due to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic and the restrictions it causes, it is not possible to hold a Guitar Summit as we know it from previous years.

Nevertheless, we want to offer the international guitar community an event that enables encounters and exchange between guitar enthusiasts from all over the world. And a platform that enables you, the exhibitor, to present your products and topics to a large international audience in these difficult times.

 

2. WHY ARE WE CONVINCED THAT THE GUITAR SUMMIT WEB CAMP CONCEPT WORKS?

Over the last 3 years, the Guitar Summit has been established as one of the top international events for the guitar community. We know what the visitors want and have transferred all core elements of the analogue Guitar Summit into a digital format.

With a clear design, easy handling, bilingualism (German & English) and compatibility with PC, Mac, Smartphones and Tablets, we will provide access to the Guitar Summit Web Camp for as many guitar enthusiasts from all over the world as possible. In addition, there are numerous interactive elements such as text and video chat functions to communicate directly with the exhibitors, the editorial staff, the artists or with each other.

Our influential media partners and many trendy youtubers will promote the Guitar Summit Web Camp and some of them will even actively participate in the programme design as well. But the most important thing above all will be the exhibitors. With their exciting topics and variety of products they make the Guitar Summit an event that no guitar enthusiast can miss. And this is how it will be at the Guitar Summit Web Camp.

 

3. WHEN DOES THE GUITAR SUMMIT WEB CAMP TAKE PLACE?

The digital live event with all interactive elements will take place from 28th – 29th November 2020. It starts on Saturday at 12 o’clock and ends Sunday at 24 o’clock.

 

4. HOW LONG WILL THE CONTENTS OF THE GUITAR SUMMIT WEB CAMP STAY ONLINE?

After the digital live event all content will remain online for 2 weeks without the interactive elements.

 

5. DOES THE GUITAR SUMMIT WEB CAMP COST ADMISSION?

The Guitar Summit Web Camp is free of charge for visitors, they only need to register to participate.

 

6. IN WHICH LANGUAGE WILL THE GUITAR SUMMIT WEB CAMP TAKE PLACE?

The Guitar Summit Web Camp is bilingual (German and English).

Communication today is extremely distributed and takes place everywhere at any time. Many users say that they are already reaching relevant information. That’s why we as publishers, manufacturers and distributors can’t limit ourselves to our own channels, which are mostly visited by already existing customers, but we have to go to the big media marketplace, just like in the old analog world. This is where the guitar community meet.

8. WHAT IS THE GUITAR SUMMIT LIVE STREAM?

The Guitar Summit Live Stream offers a packed programme with interviews and gear talk, editorial contributions, live performances, workshops and discussions. Hip youtubers help to shape the programme. The Live Stream can be found on the homepage and it will be available on-demand afterwards.

A live chat function turns passive viewers into active event participants who can participate interactively during the live stream.

9. HOW CAN I PRESENT MYSELF AS AN EXHIBITOR AT THE GUITAR SUMMIT WEB CAMP?

As an exhibitor you can present yourself on the brand pages. There are three different service packages with different features to choose from.

You can choose between three different service packages with different features for the brand pages.

 

11. WHAT ARE THE BRAND PAGES?

On the brand pages the exhibitor can set up a virtual stand for his brand. He can present his brand and products, communicate directly with visitors, integrate workshops, organise competitions and much more.

 

12. IN WHICH LANGUAGE DO I DESIGN MY BRAND SITE?

The Brand Page with all its sections can be in German and/or English. However, since we reach an international audience with the Guitar Summit Web Camp, all content should ideally be in German AND English.

 

13. HOW CAN I PRESENT MY BRAND?

On the brand pages you can create a virtual stand with a brand profile (text, banner, logo, contact, etc.) and a welcome video.

 

14. WHAT IS A WELCOME VIDEO?

A welcome video can be an image film of the brand or a video in which you introduce yourself to your visitors.

 

15. HOW CAN I PRESENT MY PRODUCTS?

With text, an image gallery, brochure download, audio files and product videos.

 

16. CAN I SELL MY PRODUCTS ON MY BRAND SITE?

You can link your own online shop on the brand pages. Alternatively, you can also cooperate with a retailer who also participates in the Guitar Summit Web Camp.

 

17. HOW CAN I PROVIDE VISITORS OF MY BRAND SITE WITH REGULAR UPDATES DURING THE EVENT?

All the posts of a brand from platforms such as Facebook and Instagram can be combined into a single feed on a social media wall.

 

18. HOW CAN I GET IN CONTACT WITH THE VISITORS?

Various communication tools are available. The visitor can contact the exhibitor via 1on1 text chat or video session.

 

19. CAN I DEFINE OPENING HOURS FOR THE CHAT AT MY BRAND STAND?

As an exhibitor you can decide for yourself when you can be reached via chat during the digital live event (Sat. 28.09. from 12 noon – Sun. 29.09. to midnight).

 

20. CAN I ORGANISE COMPETITIONS?

Yes, every exhibitor can organise competitions on his own website. Exhibitors who have booked the Premium Package however will be featured in the Guitar Summit Live Stream.

 

THE WORKSHOPS

21. CAN I ORGANISE WORKSHOPS?

Workshops can be embedded in the brand pages – in the form of pre-produced videos, live streams or podcasts.

 

22. WHAT KIND OF CONTENT CAN THESE WORKSHOPS HAVE?

Content is King – it’s not about glossy 4K productions but about exciting content such as behind-the-scenes material, workshop tours, interviews with artists and product developers, Q&A sessions, concerts, technical advice, etc.

 

23. IN WHICH LANGUAGE SHOULD THE WORKSHOPS BE?

The workshops can be in German and/or English.

 

24. WHERE CAN I FIND THE WORKSHOPS AS A VISITOR?

As a visitor, I can find the workshops on the respective brand pages and in a programme overview with different topic channels as well. There they are listed on a timeline and – similar to the analogue Guitar Summit – activated according to a fixed schedule.

 

25. A VISITOR CAN I AS ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS OR DISCUSS THEM?

A specially created forum accompanies the workshop programme. A thread is set up in advance of each workshop, where exhibitors, lecturers, artists and visitors can discuss the respective topic. A link under the workshop video will take you directly to the respective thread.

 

26. WHAT OTHER FUNCTIONS DOES THE FORUM HAVE?

This forum also serves as a platform for networking and exchange of off-topic matters – here visitors can communicate with each other as well as exhibitors, musicians and lecturers.

 

27. ARE THE WORKSHOPS ALSO AVAILABLE AFTER THE GUITAR SUMMIT WEB CAMP?

The workshops will remain available for another 2 weeks after activation.
