We are pleased to announce that after 2019, Henrik Freischlader will be back at Guitar Summit 2022.
Henrik Freischlader is one of Germany’s most renowned blues guitarists. With his highly virtuosic guitar playing and full-sounding, raw voice, he knows how to inspire not only dedicated blues fans but also young people for the genre.
He was born in 1982 and is an autodidact and multi-instrumentalist who began playing drums, guitar and bass at an early age. His musical influences include Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher and BB King, as well as Gary Moore, to whom he paid tribute in 2017 with the album “Blues for Gary.” That album featured former Gary Moore co-musicians Pete Rees (bass) and Vic Martin (keyboards), as well as Moore‘s brother Cliff Moore (guitar).
At the 2019 Guitar Summit, he and his band electrified the Mozartsaal in the Rosengarten, demonstrating once again that he is one of the top international stars of the blues scene.
Don’t miss the chance to attend one of his workshops. If you want to learn from the master himself, you will also have the opportunity to take part in an exclusive masterclass!
