Thomas Blug is not only a world-class guitarist. As a composer, producer and guitar amp manufacturer, he is one of the busiest players in the guitar world and is enjoying international reputation. He has received several awards for his virtuoso guitar playing. Thomas Blug has also made a name for himself as an author and lecturer.

Through the years, Thomas has played as a session musician for numerous artists and produced albums for various bands. He has also worked as a musical director for various television shows and performed as a solo artist at international guitar festivals.

In 2004 he founded his own company, BluGuitar GmbH, and developed the innovative guitar amplifier system Amp1, which is used by many guitarists worldwide.
